I went to bed at like 4 in the morning, which lead to me sleeping through my alarm. I was meant to get breakfast at like 9am, so then my concierge called and woke me up reminding me that I had a full day of shopping ahead. I got out of bed hungover and ended up managing to shop all day and bought some really good things! (Including MAC makeup for only 20 Australian Dollars!) I had a personal driver take me to the Mall Of Asia, but I called him and told him I would catch a taxi back to the hotel instead, to save him the hassle. (Not a good idea). I ended up having to catch two taxi’s around the fucking city because no driver knew where my hotel was, as it was new. I called my concierge who gave the driver directions and I finally got back to my hotel. After resting and admiring the things I bought, I got to Skype a few people including my two best friends, Tenille and Gabriella. That made me a little home sick, I must admit. I then went down the huge lobby where there was the opening and launch party of the hotel’s casino. It was a lot of fun. I photographed the event on my camera, and I socialised with the people there. After making a lot of new friends, I decided to call it a night as I had a flight the next morning. Overall, day 2 was a good day. The only downside was knowing that it would be my last night at the hotel. I didn’t like the thought of saying goodbye to the huge bed and friends I had met there.

It’s 3am and my first day here in the Philippines, is coming to an end. I met a lovely lady on the plane to Brisbane from Sydney who had a 3 week old baby who happened to inspire me in many ways. I’m a top baby sitter by the way. And then from Brisbane to Manila, I became good friends with a Filipino mother who offered me a job at where she works. I arrived at my hotel and it was nothing like I expected. Photos do not do it justice, but I will upload them soon. Anyway, my room is amazing. I have a king sized bed with a huge bath, a balcony overlooking the city and a flat screen TV in my face. I just feel so spoiled. Great, I feel materialistic now. So, I just got back from going out around the city with this guy who works at the hotel. It was good fun, we went bar hopping, sat on the bay, etc. Now I’m off to bed because I have to be up for breakfast, then off to shop my money away at the Mall Of Asia and then the casino launch party tomorrow night. Goodnight world!
